BATFE Information:

 

Paperwork related to a firearm sale (the form 4473 if done in person, the invoice logbooks if transferred to another FFL) must be kept on file by us for 20 years.  The BATFE is permitted legally to review these records during routine audits that every FFL holder undergoes periodically and also when the data is requested as part of a legitimate and authorized firearm trace.
